When the St Annes Bridge Club moved to new premises in April they wanted to offer members a really good venue to play in. Twelve of our Premier tables finished in natural beech with burgundy red baize were installed in the new hall in Lytham and they were so pleased with them that they have placed a further order.
The Club claims to have one of the best venues in which to play bridge in Lancashire. They offer one of the most comprehensive Bridge Training programmes in the UK and run Beginners' Classes where absolutely NO previous experience of playing the game is required. They also regularly hold Improvers' classes for the more experienced players.
With more young women taking up the game of bridge, the demand for bridge tables in more modern finishes than the traditional dark brown with green baize is accelerating. Pelissier offer a large range of models in different wood finishes and baize colours.
What is the appeal of the game for young women? In an era where digital distractions dominate, young women are increasingly drawn to this classic card game that challenges their intellect and problem-solving skills.
